Building new training concepts
From needs analysis to a finished curriculum.
Service 02
Many companies have training landscapes that have grown but lack structure: slides from different years, varying quality per trainer, no visible connection between learning objectives and assessments.
Offering
From needs analysis to a finished curriculum.
Standards, templates and review processes that ensure consistency across several trainers and sites.
Training to Dr Bernice McCarthy that addresses different learner types equally.
Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation as a project framework for larger training initiatives – likewise to SAM and Backward Design.
Re-design, digitalisation and adaptation to new standards.
Creating learning activities, e-learning with Articulate, or training materials.
Project framework
For extensive training projects I work along a fixed phase model – supplemented by SAM and Backward Design where they get to the goal faster.
Clarify needs, target group and starting point.
Define learning objectives, structure and assessment forms.
Create materials, activities and media.
Run the training and brief the trainers.
Measure impact and uncover weak points.
Evaluation is not an endpoint but the entry into the next analysis – that is how a training concept stays viable for years.
Methodological basis
The alignment triangle is my core tool in instructional design.
Every learning objective gets a precise action verb, every learning activity is aligned to it, every assessment tests exactly what was practised before – documented and traceable.

The result: a training concept that not only looks good but demonstrably builds competence – repeatable and testable.
